Drying out wet gloves and reusing them without retesting. Most people think if you hang a wet glove up to dry overnight, it’s good as new. That’s wrong.

Water permanently damages the internal molecular structure of the rubber. Even a fully dried wet glove will never recover 100% of its original insulation performance. You either send it for immediate retesting, or you throw it away – there is no middle ground.

Skipping the pre-use inflate check when it’s wet. The roll-and-inflate test is even more critical in the rain.
